11-7-2011: Turned Out to be a Great Vehicle

We were very happy with the service everybody at Vamos San Jose gave us.  Unfortunately when we went to collect our rental car there was not one available for the class we had booked, so we were upgraded at no extra charge, which helped ease our disappointment.
The car we received was a little older than we expected (early 2000's Nissan Pathfinder) and covered in dings etc BUT it turned out to be a great vehicle that suited our needs perfectly and proved totally reliable.
We have since recommended Vamos to our friends who may be visiting Costa Rica soon.
My wife and I are looking to return in February and will be calling you to see what vehicles you will have available.

    We rented a Daihatsu Bego November 9-19/11 and had no problems with our rental. At first we were apprehensive after reading horrific reviews from customers of various rental agencies but this was not the case for us. The price was reasonable and the staff was extremely helpful. We agree with others that you should avoid driving at night due to crater-sized potholes that appear out of nowhere with no warning.
