Best Service at a Car Rental I have Ever Had

The service was incredible! Some of the best service at a car rental I have ever had.

The rates were very competitive. No hassles and helpful.

First Class Rental Experience

As always, my rental experience with Vamos was first class.

I will be returning to Costa Rica in November and I will be renting from Vamos again.

I do not really have many comments. Service was very good. Staff helpful. Car was fine. Price was competitive. No complaints. I can not really offer suggestions since I do not have any complaints.

It was a little difficult finding my way back to Vamos office from downtown San Jose, and hard to know where to get off the highway, so a map that shows exactly how to travel to and from the office would be my only suggestion.

I did not have such a map, but maybe Vamos gave me this map and I lost it. It is no problem when Vamos picks up a customer from airport, but it was a problem for me in finding the Vamos location when I drove back to drop off the car at end of trip.

Response: Thanks for your suggestion Eric! It’s in the works I know, that and the GPS provider for Costa Rica will be including our three office locations in their next software update.

Would Not Consider Renting from Any Other Car Rental Company

This was our second experience with Vamos Rent-A-Car in Costa Rica.

In Dec. 2009 we rented a vehicle from your San Jose Office and were so impressed with the quality of service we decided that Vamos would be our rental company of choice when visiting your beautiful country.

We were not disappointed. The vehicle was in excellent condition, the customer service was top notch - very accommodating.

We arrived late on a Friday night after your offices had closed for the day, but one of your employees was able to meet us at the airport and drive us to your office - after a short time filling out the paperwork we were on our way to Tamarindo.

The vehicle was just what we needed - we put quite a few hundred kilometers on the odometer and never had any kind of problem.

It became apparent that we were going to be late returning the vehicle, but when I called, it was not a problem and again one of your people was able to pick the car up at the Hilton Garden Inn around 9:00pm.

We will be back in Costa Rica July 2012 and would not consider renting from any other car rental company. Vamos es el mejor del mundo!

Wonderful Rental and Great Customer Service

Thank you for the followup on our rental and I was very pleased with the service.

Your Liberia manager, Anibal, when out of his way to ensure that we were well taken care of. We will be returning in December and will be renting from you again.

The only suggestion I have would be to have stereo units in the vehicle with an AUX outlet so that we could play our iPod music. This is a very minor thing and certainly not a reason not to rent from you.

Wonderful Experience with Vamos

Service was Excellent, Fast and Friendly

The car was both affordable and easily accomodated our group of four travelers with luggage.

We covered some pretty rough dirt roads between Punta Renas and Mal Pais, because the ferry was not running when we first arrived.

The GPS unit kept us on track, so we did not get lost, and we were able to see a lot of places easily because we had our own vehicle.

Both picking-up and returning the car, the service was excellent, fast and friendly.

We would be happy to use Vamos a Rental Car or recommend it to our friends again in the future.

My Rental went Very Well

My rental went very well.

I did get two flat tires (the air simply slowly went out of them, I do not know why). I repaired one of them and another went flat just after that, so your staff kindly replaced those two tires.

Alex has been a very helpful sales representative and Tiziana is a great customer service agent.

I am in Costa Rica for several months and am renting month-by-month from Vamos, so I now have a second rental contract.

I have nothing but praise for Vamos.

From beginning to end, the experience was a breeze. My first online chat with Anibal was very pleasant and she was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Rafi delivered our car on time to our hotel and it was clean, and running great. We appreciated the use of your cell phone and ice chest which both came in very handy.

I was worried about leaving the car at the airport, but everyone assured me at Vamos that it would be fine.
