Dear David,
My experience with Vamos was pleasant as usual.  My husband and I have used Vamos for our rentals several times now.  Your customer service is outstanding.  You have gone above and beyond this time with accommodating my needs and I appreciate that very much.  We rent the Terios every time we travel to Costa Rica and it’s been a good, dependable car and fits our needs very well.  We have in the past and will continue to recommend Vamos to everyone we come in contact with traveling to Costa Rica.  The only thing I can say that I think you need to add is a line of Pick-up trucks to rent.  Other than that, you do a great job and thanks again.

Well, I would like to tell you that from the beginning to end, our experience with Vamos was GREAT!  The car we used was reliable, and comfortable.  The representatives at the office near the San Juan airport were very helpful and accommodating.  If I return to Costa Rica (which I would love to do), I will definitely use your company again.  On our last day, after returning the car, Route 1 was blocked by an accident. We were taken by one of your agents through the “back roads” to the airport.  We never would have gotten there if he did not know this route.  Thank you for your hospitality and wonderful service.

Dear David:
My family and I had a nice vacation in your beautiful country. This was the first time I rented with Vamos. The car worked fine. The pick and return at the airport was efficient. Some of the recommendations given by your colleague that delivered the car, such as where to park the car at parks and restaurants, and clarification of what was covered by the insurance, was helpful. I appreciated also being able to rent the cell phone with the car. This helped us making hotel reservations while on the road.
I would recommend to others your company.

This was actually the first time I have not rented from one of the globally well-known companies, like Avis and Hertz, mainly because I was very impressed with the high level of responsiveness to my questions prior to determining whom I was going to rent a vehicle from. The all-inclusive price was also very reasonable and competitive, and I particularly liked not being surprised with hidden charges upon the car’s return.
The entire rental experience was a pleasure. The added touches like sending a map to my home prior to departure, having a cooler available in the car and providing a  cell phone for emergencies was very customer-focused.
Your staff was courteous and professional.
I will definitely rent from and recommend Vamos Rent-a-Car!!

My August trip to CR was the second time I have rented a car from Vamos, and the service from the folks was excellent each time. I don’t remember their names, but the two brothers from Nicaragua were very nice and took good care of me. I recommend Vamos to all on my website www.ticolinks.net. I have reserved a car for my next trip in December.
I had lots of trouble with the car itself. I was in Puerto Viejo for three days and had to use jumper cables to start the car each time.

Dear vamos,
You provided my friends and i an affordable, reliable car that we used
to travel your entire beutiful country. On both of my visits to costa
rica i chose vamos and wouldnt consider anyone else. The gentlemen
working on staff are friendly and helpful. They provided mi y mis
amigos with useful maps and great directions, an enjoyable and free
shuttle to and from the airport, and costumer service unpresidented to
other car rental companies i have delt with. When my friend and fellow
traveler dan forgot his jacket at headquarters, after dropping us off
at the airport- we figured it was lost. A dedicated employee not only
returned to the airport, he somehow found us in a crowded line to
return the jacket at no mention of an extra charge.
For all of these things we are greatful and our next visit to costa
rica will definatly include Vamos.

We had a great experience with Vamos 4×4. We did not really need the GPS between San Jose and Quepos, but no problems with the vehicle and we recieved good service picking up and dropping off the vehicle. We would use you guys again.

Hi David,
I’m really happy I chose Vamos for our trip.  Most everything worked out very well.  There were a few minor hickups which you helped solve.
- We didn’t know we had to add 2 or 8 in front of the phone numbers written in our guide books.  We thought our cell phone was broken until we spoke to you.
- It wasn’t clear when 4WD was engaged.  We got stuck in a ditch once with our rear tires spinning.  We probably didn’t have it set right, but we couldn’t read the Spanish owner’s manual.  Eventually we figured out, after speaking with you, that we have to play with the clutch in neutral a bit to get the indicator to flash a little slower which probably meant it was working.
